On May 31, the DLC Dark Brotherhood will be released for the PC version of the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, followed by the console version on June 14. Zenimax Online now explains what to expect.
To start the new adventures, you have three options. Depending on the alliance you belong to, a boat will be available to you in Dolchsturz, Davons Wacht, or Vulkhelwacht that takes you to the Gold Coast, the new area introduced with the DLC. Alternatively, you can visit a lawless hideout and speak with Amelie Kroh, from whom you will receive the first quest “Voices in the Dark.” The third option is to activate the quest through the DLC section of your collection. After the first quests, you will speak with the NPC Terenus at the lighthouse of Anwil.
Complete many quests in the Dark Brotherhood
In general, you should visit the two new cities Anwil and Kvatch after installing the DLC, as a lot of new quests await you there, and you will encounter familiar NPCs like Lerisa the Cunning, Razum-dar, Naryu Virian, and Mel Adrys.
By completing the quest “Voices in the Dark,” you will receive the Blade of Woe, which allows you to silently take down enemies from behind. If you want to solidify your presence in the Dark Brotherhood, contracts will be available as repeatable quests where you must fight specific individuals. You can also complete sacraments as repeatable missions, where you need to ambush certain targets at specific locations. In Anwil and Kvatch, you can also check the bounty boards for contracts.
Explore new dungeons
With the Hrota Cave near Anwil and Garlas Agea further in the middle of the area, two new dungeons await you. And you will face two new bosses that can be found in the Gold Coast area. Among them is a colossal Minotaur in the Tribunal’s Gate near the center of the area, as well as another challenge in the Arena of Kvatch. Of course, you can look forward to plenty of new rewards, including the Robe of the Black Hand and new memorabilia.
No matter what level you are, you can undertake the new content of the Dark Brotherhood DLC for the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online at any time, as your level will be adjusted for the adventures accordingly.
