In the fantasy MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, Zenimax gives an insight into new shop offerings for June. In particular, a Frostmahr stands out.
Since the transition to Buy2Play, The Elder Scrolls Online has also relied on the cash shop. For a limited time, a Frostmahr is being offered at the beginning of July. Literally a cool horse. Some players have already announced that they will slaughter their crown pig for it and buy it.
Fans of The Elder Scrolls Online and the cash shop: A hot-cold love affair
Other fans of The Elder Scrolls Online do not find this funny at all. They ask about the “lore”, the story behind it. It is said to be thin; the horse may come from the same dimension as the Cold Flames Atronach. Then others say: But then not just any average Joe can summon it; only mages should be able to do that.
Especially players who place a high value on lore feel that offers like this disregard it in order to find particularly attractive offers for their cash shop. Others say: I don’t care; I want to ride that thing as soon as possible.
The Frostmahr will be available in the cash shop from July 2nd to July 6th. This applies to both PC and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
