In The Elder Scrolls Online, many players have developed a close relationship with their characters. However, not everyone is satisfied with the details of their character and would like to change some things.
If we look back a year to the launch of The Elder Scrolls Online: During character creation, there was a bug that prevented players from zooming in on their character. The extremely extensive customization options for character creation could not be properly utilized for the first character. However, many wanted to get started and finally play the game they had been looking forward to for so long.
As a result, many “compromise” heroes were created back then, and now some details annoy their owners. Or tastes have changed, or one simply wants to see something different. Therefore, players have long wished for ZeniMax to introduce a kind of “barber shop”. In the MMO genre, this usually means not just a hairdresser or facial hair trimmer, but an all-rounder who can also change the faces of the characters, just like during character creation. It is therefore a mix of hairdresser, cosmetic surgeon, and magical flesh sculptor.
ZeniMax has now indicated in an ESO Live and also confirmed in the forum that they are currently working on the feature. Although no specific date can be provided yet and no explanation has been given on how the feature will be integrated into the game, perhaps via the Crown Store. The scope of the modification feature is also not yet known.
