In an interview with MassivelyOP, Firor explained that they are currently working on the new DLC “Shadows of the Hist”, which will include argonian dungeons. However, this update should not be seen as a major DLC, but rather as an insight into the culture of the Argonians. They will make the first step into Black Marsh, indicating that much more is planned for the future. Initially, they will begin with two 4-player dungeons that will also tell a small story about the history of the Argonians.
Climbing Higher
Next comes the One Tamriel update, which will adjust the content of the entire game world to the player’s level. No matter what level you have, you will always find suitable content for yourself everywhere. Matt Firor explains that this does not render the character progression system obsolete. They only take the content out of the progression. The feeling of getting better from moment to moment remains in the MMORPG. You will continue to level up and distribute your skill points, which will improve your character. At level 50, you become a veteran and receive Champion Points. What will be different is that you will always find loot appropriate for your level.
Furthermore, Matt Firor talked about PvP, as soon you will be able to conquer the cities of Cyrodiil: Cropsford, Vlastarus, and Bruma, providing additional respawn points for your alliance. They are also working hard on performance and minimizing lags. The lags would be due to the large number of players on the servers. They do not want to make major changes to the client, as this could lead to instability.
After Housing, It Continues
When asked about the upcoming housing in The Elder Scrolls Online , Matt Firor did not want to say much. The feature will still take at least six months to be ready, but they wanted fans to know that they are working on it. They already have plans for the game that go far beyond housing. The players should simply know that much more is coming, as some have complained that new updates are taking too long. However, they want to deliver quality and not rush to publish something.
