What happened? For a long time, Skyrim fans had to wait for a successor, now their prayers have been answered. At the Bethesda press conference at the E3 2018, the 6th installment of the Elder Scrolls series was finally presented. The new game is currently only called The Elder Scrolls 6. A subtitle is not yet known.
But what is it about and what is all included?

What is known about the setting? At the Bethesda press conference, the new Elder Scrolls game was briefly shown at the very end. However, only a short camera sweep through a mountainous landscape can be seen.
You see the following:
- A type of rugged steppe
- A ruin on a cliff
- A larger body of water in the background
The new region is therefore probably by the sea. The setting could possibly be in the areas of the Redguards or even the Khajiit.
Starfield – The first new IP in over 20 years
What is known? Rumors about a game called Starfield have been circulating for a long time. And at E3 it was finally confirmed! In a tiny teaser, a satellite is swallowed by a kind of gravitational effect. Then the logo is shown.
Bethesda has reportedly been working on the project for some time. However, no specifics are known yet. According to rumors, Starfield could even be a kind of link between Elder Scrolls and Fallout and could include space elves.
Release for Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield will still take a while
When will Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield be released? Unfortunately, it will still take some time until the new Elder Scrolls game is released. After all, development has only recently begun. Starfield has been in development for a longer time, but when it will be released is completely unknown.
By the way, both games have been announced as “next-gen games”. Therefore, Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield may only be playable on the next generation of consoles.
