Today, a new Strategic Mission starts in The Division, for which you have one week. Additionally: Is the Challenge Mode of “Clear Sky” already active?
For a week now, we have been able to play the contents of Update 1.2. One new feature is: There are now two missions that we can complete within 7 days to earn rewards.
The “Weekly ISAC Task” provides Division Tech along with an exclusive cosmetic item and is supplemented by Ubisoft with special videos about the Division technician Simon Keyes. This is released every Thursday. A bit confusing: The in-game timer indicates that the reset of this task is every Tuesday. However, this timer is not correct.
The Weekly Mission “Strategic Task” consists of a total of four tasks and grants you 30 Phoenix Credits upon successful completion. This resets every Tuesday – the timer is correct here.
This is the Strategic Task on May 31st.
This task has no “background story” like the ISAC task. You just need to complete the four tasks by next Tuesday:
- Eliminate 50 Cleaners: Go into the Dark Zone and take out Cleaners. But be careful, the flamethrowers are lethal!
- Dismantle 20 specialized items: You need to dismantle 20 items of “blue” quality or higher.
- Eliminate 50 LMB Mercenaries: This does not have to happen in the Dark Zone.
- Complete 10 missions: For this, complete 10 main missions on the difficulty level “Hard” or “Challenging”.
The 30 Phoenix Credits as a reward will probably not cause anyone to rejoice. However, most of these tasks are done on the side, so minimal extra effort is required.
Challenge Mode of “Clear Sky” not yet active
As of now, the Challenge Mode of the new raid “Clear Sky” is not live yet. According to Massive, this will be released a week after the Conflict update – so sometime soon.
Whether it will be unlocked during the day is uncertain. The daily reset usually happens at 2 AM our time. Presumably, the Challenge Mode will come after the maintenance on Thursday.
If there are official updates, you will find out soon with us. We have already covered the Challenge Mode of “Clear Sky” here.
