In The Division, the State of the Game, the weekly report from Massive, just took place. They talked about the contents of Update 1.3 for the PS4 and upcoming fixes.
The community developers Hamish Bode and Yannick Banchereau presented the new contents for the PS4 agents in the stream with a graphic, which are now available: The new missions in Challenge Mode, the new Heroic difficulty level, the AlphaBridge gear set, the new weapons and weapon types, and the Ubi-30 outfits are shown in it. All this information about the PS4 contents has already been introduced in this article.
Additionally, the free contents include some new features that are not shown in this graphic: The terminal is available in the operations base, you can access the new highest Dark Zone class, weapon talents can be rerolled, and the inventory will be expanded.
Upcoming Bug Fixes in The Division
When the developers mentioned that PS4 agents can now access the terminal, they meant that you only have to walk past the reward vendor and down “the stairs.” They had to chuckle at that – after all, “the stairs” quickly drew all of the agents’ rage.
Apparently, the developers are currently looking into this major annoyance to see if they can somehow shorten the long march. They are checking if a fix is possible for that. The stairs are supposed to become more agent-friendly.
Additionally, a client patch is currently being compiled. This will address the map bug and other encountered issues. If Massive can manage it quickly, this will be deployed by the end of this week. However, they do not want to promise that. Otherwise, the patch will come at the beginning of next week.
Maintenance work is scheduled for next Thursday – even though there was already the weekly server downtime today. The developers need to make some adjustments to the server, as announced. With a bit of luck, the aforementioned client patch will go live by then.
In conclusion: The Ubi30 outfits that adorn our title image will be available for all agents for free in the Ubisoft Club today. However, not just yet. But definitely later today.
