Four teams from the industry giant Ubisoft are now working on the upcoming MMO shooter “The Division”.
“The Division” is an MMO shooter that is set to be released in 2015 for Playstation 4, XBox One, and PC. Little has been heard and especially seen of the mammoth project so far, following its hype.
The game is primarily being developed by “Massive Entertainment” in Malmö, Sweden. From the beginning, a US team from Ubisoft, Red Storm, has also been involved in the development, bringing their previous experience with “Tom Clancy” titles. The team “Reflections” from the UK is also cooperating with Massive, recently gaining MMO experience with “The Crew“.
Now Ubisoft is sending in additional support with the French team “Ubisoft Annecy”. They should bring their multiplayer experience from Assassin’s Creed into the development.
According to Ubisoft’s press release, everything is functioning fantastically, everyone is incredibly excited to collaborate with each other, and they presented some highlights from Assassin’s Creed and stated: All of this was done by Ubisoft Annecy.
