In The Division, plans for updates 1.7 and 1.8 are underway. Massive wants to hear your feedback and therefore invites an ETF to England.
Recently, the State of the Game aired on April 27. It covered the upcoming ETF and the PTS Phase 2 that started today.
The term “ETF” stands for “Elite Task Force” and represents a team of community representatives invited by Massive to discuss future innovations and adjustments in The Division on-site. So far, two ETFs have taken place – once for update 1.4 and once for update 1.6. Massive has emphasized several times that these were extremely fruitful and that they will repeat such events in the future.
Now there are concrete details about the next ETF: It will take place from May 23 to 26 (the longest ETF event to date) in Newcastle, England, where the Reflections studios are located. The first ETF was in Sweden directly at Massive, the second was in the USA at RedStorm, and now it is going to England.
During these four days, the developers want to discuss updates 1.7 and 1.8 with community representatives. About everything that year 2 has in store for The Division. There will be workshops as well. Since this ETF is being invited relatively early, well before 1.7 and 1.8 are released, it is hoped that the influence and implementation possibilities of the ideas will be greater than before.
Important: If you want to be part of this ETF, you don’t have to be a famous YouTuber or streamer. You just need to be over 18, allowed to travel to the UK, and have time on those days. Good English skills wouldn’t hurt either. If you are selected, Massive will cover your flight, hotel, and meals during the stay. Information on registration can be found in the Division forum.
PTS Phase 2 is live
The PTS Phase 2 is live since this afternoon. On the test servers, PC agents can test update 1.6.1 in the coming days. Today, the test build was updated. We have already reported about the patch notes in this article. Highlights include changes to aim assist for hip fire, the nimble talent, and the aerial detonation mod of the seeker mine. The talent and the ability will not be nerfed as strongly as announced.
