The Division Update 1.8 – Now sign up for PTS on PS4 and Xbox One!

In The Division, you can now register for the PTS phase for Update 1.8 on PS4 and Xbox One. Registration is only available for a short time.

While PC agents have been able to try out some new features of Update 1.8 on the public test servers, the PTS, since September 22, agents on PS4 and Xbox One still have to be patient. The PTS for consoles will launch later.

There is currently no specific PTS launch date for PS4 and Xbox One. Massive is aiming for September 26, but this date will likely be postponed.

From now on, you can register for the console PTS if you want to participate in the testing phase to get a preview of future content. However, there are some things you should consider before registering.

Registration for the Console PTS for 1.8 – What You Need to Know

On PC, all interested players can access the PTS. On consoles, the number of testers is limited. Not everyone can participate; you need a key.

There are two ways to get a key for PTS 1.8 on PS4 and Xbox One:

• If you have already been on the public test servers for 1.7, you automatically have access to the PTS for 1.8. You already possess the key and do not need to do anything until the PTS launch.
• If you do not have a key yet, you must register for it now. However, registration is not a guarantee that you will receive a key.

Important Information Before Registration:

• You must own The Division for the platform you are registering for.
• You must have played The Division on PS4 or Xbox One in the last 30 days.
• It does not work: “First come, first served” for getting a key. Instead, you have a higher chance of getting a key if you have spent a lot of gameplay time in The Division.
• The invites will be sent out at a later date. You will not receive the key immediately.
• The PTS are not available in Asian regions.

During registration, you mustprovide your name, your Uplay ID, your email address, and your platform. The email you provide must be linked to your Uplay account. Additionally, you must have set in your Uplay account settings that Ubisoft is allowed to send you emails. Otherwise, you will not receive the key.

The registration runs until September 25 (Monday) at 9 AM.

Information about the PTS 1.8

Keep in mind that the PTS are test servers. You will encounter some bugs and glitches. It can also happen at any time that you suddenly lose items and progress.

Any progress you make on the PTS will not carry over to the live game. However, you do not need to create a new character for the PTS – character data will be transferred.

Currently, not all content of Update 1.8 is live on the PC PTS. The focus at the moment is on PvP mode Skirmish, the new Rogue system, and new items. The new Underground or Resistance mode are still offline.
