In a few days, the update 1.5 and the Survival DLC for PC and Xbox One will be released for The Division. What content is coming for PS4?
On November 22, the next step in the journey through the post-apocalyptic New York begins for all hobby agents playing on PC or Xbox One. However, PS4 agents will have to wait a little longer. Mark these dates in your calendar:
- On December 20, the Survival DLC will be released for PS4. This date has since been confirmed by the German Facebook page of The Division.
- “A few days after” November 22, the update 1.5 will come to PS4. Massive will provide it as soon as possible. There are rumors that November 24 is a strong candidate. However, no specific date has been officially announced.

What is included in update 1.5? What content is coming to PS4 in a few days?
The update 1.5 will be free for everyone and is by no means as extensive as the update 1.4. The shortest description of the content is: Here is everything new, except for the Survival Mode. We summarize the content in bullet points.
World Tier 5 and new maximum Gear Score:
- With update 1.5, World Tier 5 will be available. The enemies are at level 34, and the gear score of the loot will be raised to 256.
- This world tier is intended for agents who have already reached the possible maximum in 1.4 and are now seeking new challenges and goals.
Note: A World Tier 6 is likely not coming anytime soon – if at all.
Named Gear Parts:
- Six unique, named gear parts will be introduced, which we present in the provided link. They come with special talents.
- These gear parts are only available in Survival Mode and World Tier 5. You can find them in specific locations in the game and by opening sealed crates that you receive when you gather enough experience points.
- The FrontLine gear set will be added to the game.

Named Weapons:
- There will be 12 new weapons and 4 new named weapons.
- The B.L.I.N.D. Rifle will be implemented, now renamed “Urban MDR Assault Rifle”. It deals extra damage to enemies affected by status effects.
Armor and Shotguns:
- The armor stat is currently the most important stat you should have on armor pieces. There is an investigation into how this might change in the future.
- Enemy armor damage will also affect PvP going forward. The change to make this value a higher attribute will not come in 1.5. It was tested on the PTS but was discarded.
- The aim assist for shotguns will be reduced. Additionally, the precision and bonus damage for headshots will be adjusted.

General Changes:
- Activities at higher world tiers now grant more credits and Phoenix Credits. Challenging incursions provide 100 PCs at world tier 2, 120 at tier 3, 165 at tier 4, and 270 at tier 5.
- Vendors will sell items at a score dependent on your value – and not anymore on the world tier. The containers will be slightly more expensive at the higher tiers.
- Enemies can now drop crafting materials when they are killed.
- You can stagger enemies in PvP.
- The inventory size will be expanded from 70 to 150.
Additionally, there will be numerous balance changes and bug fixes, which will be listed in the preliminary patch notes for 1.5. The final patch notes will be released on November 21.
