In The Division, you do not need to be in the terminal to start the Survival mode.
Now for a quick tip that will make the lives of many agents a little more enjoyable.
If you want to start a survival session, you normally go to the terminal, run to the entrance marked “Survival,” and select the player search.
However, there is a trick that allows you to skip the way or the fast travel to the terminal:
- Open the map,
- Select the terminal,
- Press the button for player search (Xbox Y, PS4 Triangle),
- Select Survival now
- And begin the player search with PvP or PvE.
This way, you can enter the queue for a Survival match without having to fly to the terminal first. You can start the player search anywhere on the map – except in the Dark Zone.
