In Tom Clancy’s The Division, you can purchase items in the Xbox and PlayStation stores. We present these.
The servers of The Division are now live: numerous agents are already roaming the streets of New York, “saving what can still be saved”. Meanwhile, microtransactions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are now available in the game. So far, there are no items available for purchase on PC. We will show you what console players can currently buy with extra money.
Two outfit packs can be purchased with extra money
Currently, there are two items available through the Xbox and PlayStation store in Europe. If you want to purchase these packs, simply select the store in the main menu of The Division; you will then be redirected there.
- U.S. Marines Outfit Pack: This pack costs €4.99 and allows you to dress your agent like a U.S. Marine. This themed pack for military forces includes four unique camouflage outfits.
- Military Specialists Outfit Pack: This pack also costs €4.99 in Germany. With this, you can give your agent the “typical military look” with various outfits. Included are: Delta Force, Pilot, EOD.
So far, Ubisoft has not communicated any concrete statements regarding their plans for microtransactions, such as how and to what extent they will appear. However, Creative Director Magnus Jansen has confirmed that there will be no “shortcuts”. Progress must be achieved through gameplay. Microtransactions are intended to be purely cosmetic.
