The “Last Stand” mode in The Division is largely about PvE. Massive wants to know about your experiences with it.
The PC agents can now enjoy themselves on the public test servers and try out the new PvP mode “Last Stand.” However, this mode is actually not that “PvP” as many agents thought. The PvE, meaning the fight against NPCs, plays an important role if you want to successfully complete the mode.
Massive has now launched a survey about the “Last Stand” mode. They want to know how your PvE experience on the PTS has been so far.
The PvE in the PvP mode
In “Last Stand,” the primary focus is on capturing zones and defending against the other team. However, there are not only other players on the map but also PvE enemies.
These are a source for the currency SHD-Tech. With it, you can gain tactical boosts and set up turret fortifications at the zones. To take advantage of these benefits, you need to constantly collect SHD-Tech – you must continuously defeat NPCs. Read detailed information about the “Last Stand” mode here.
In the survey, Massive now wants to know:
- Is the role of PvE in Last Stand understandable?
- How crucial is PvE for gameplay?
- Is the effort for tactical boosts worthwhile?
- Is the difficulty of the PvE enemies appropriate?
- Is the PvE in Last Stand fun?
It will likely take a few more weeks before agents on PS4 and Xbox One can access the “Last Stand” mode. Briefly, the community developer Yannick Banchereau mentioned February 28 as the release date, before this premature information was removed.
