Tom Clancy’s The Division is starting an Alpha test on December 9th. It is exclusive to Xbox One.
We had already sensed it: An Alpha test for The Division begins on December 9th for Xbox One. It runs until December 12th. The Beta originally planned for December has been postponed to “early 2016.” PS4 and PC pre-order customers are assured by Ubisoft that they will also gain access to a closed Beta in 2016.
The current test is a closed Alpha, to which only a few players are expected to have access. The first invitations with preload have been sent out. Players who pre-ordered the Xbox One version enjoy priority in selection. Those who are currently on the waitlist for the Xbox One Alpha can still hope, should Ubisoft need additional players for the Alpha.
The Alpha starts on December 9th at 10:00 AM our time. It ends on December 12th at 12:00 PM noon.
There will be more to play than just the PvP Dark Zones seen in the presentations. The entire Alpha is under an NDA. Therefore, it cannot be discussed. The client is 23.2 GB in size and currently only available in English.
