In the MMO shooter The Division, the tech tree is designed for damage dealers. A video shows why this is the right choice through turrets, mines, and grenades.
A video has now been released on the US site iGN that deals with the skills in the tech tree. Recently, Ubisoft presented a video about skills in general. Now there is one with all the abilities of the tech tree. There are basically 4, of which 3 can be varied further with 3 mods each – and a master ability can also be added.
The four basic abilities are a sticky grenade, a turret, and a mine with a tracking device, along with the “Signature Skill”, which increases your damage and that of your teammates. This cannot be modified.
Technology – the skill tree for dealing damage: 3 abilities – with 3 mods and a “Master Bonus”
The mods make the abilities significantly more diverse.
The sticky grenade can also
- cause bleeding (BFB)
- blind the enemy (Flashbang)
- automatically detonate when an enemy gets close (Proximity Fuse)
- create less light and noise (Master – Stealthy Bomb)
The turret can:
- fire with increased damage and mark enemies (Active Sensor)
- spit flames (Dragonbreath)
- injure and stun multiple enemies with electric shocks (Zapper)
- go airborne on command and damage all nearby enemies (Master Scorched Earth)
The seeker mine can:
- explode on contact and ignite a cluster of incendiary grenades (Airburst)
- move between enemies and release gas that confuses foes (Gas Charge)
- break into smaller mines right from the start that chase various targets (Cluster)
- jump over obstacles and move directly towards targets (Master Seeking-Betty)
