Recently, the State of the Game for The Division took place on April 5th. We summarize the information shared.
In this week’s status report from the developers of The Division, community developers Hamish Bode and Yannick Bancherau spoke about the upcoming changes in the game. During the maintenance work on April 5th, nothing was changed in the game; the work was only server-side.
New blueprints coming, items for DZ rank 90
During the course of today, the patch notes for the upcoming update “Incursions” will be released. Then we will be able to report in detail about the changes. It was already revealed in the State of the Game that the vendors will carry new blueprints, and the patch notes will mention level 31 and 32 items.
However, these item levels will be replaced by the Gear Score with the update. In the future, we should no longer refer to item levels but only to Gear Score.
Note: Currently, if equipped mainly with high ends, the Gear Score will be around 160.
The items and blueprints that you can acquire in the Dark Zone will in the future no longer only be available from DZ rank 30 and 50, several tiers will be introduced. This is to allow agents who have not yet had time to reach a high DZ rank to buy items – because DZ rank 50 is a lot of work. You will be able to acquire items starting from rank 15.
The agents who have been diligently leveling up will also be rewarded: There will be items available that are only accessible from DZ ranks 75 and 90! It is worth putting a lot of time and effort into the Dark Zone.
Regarding Phoenix Credits, it was mentioned that the change to increase the drop rate on PC for level 31 and 32 enemies will be integrated into the game with the upcoming update. Previously, this adjustment caused server problems, which was why it had been postponed. The PC drop rates will be:
- Lvl 30: 1-3 Phoenix Credits
- Lvl 31: 2-4 Phoenix Credits
- Lvl 32: 3-5 Phoenix Credits
About the backpack bug and cheating
Yannick Bancherau shared regarding the backpack issue in The Division that there are several reasons why players may be excluded from the game. It is possible that some agents may still not be able to access the servers despite the upcoming update. While a solution has been found, it cannot be guaranteed that this will work for all agents. The issue is very complicated. This is frustrating not only for players but also for developers.
Regarding cheats and hacks, it was mentioned that agents should continue to report cheaters. This allows developers to respond quickly. They also have a means to identify and ban cheaters and hackers, but this is not a perfect solution. They are working on better solutions. The developers may catch many fraudsters, but longer-term changes are necessary.
Players are asked to only report others when they are really sure that they are using cheats. It may also be the case that the agent is simply significantly stronger than oneself or that there was a lag causing them to “teleport”. Apparently, many agents are reported who are not cheating.

The community developers also addressed several other topics:
- More information about Incursions will come this week.
- Rewards from daily and weekly assignments will consist of Phoenix Credits, Division Tech, and even DZ experience.
- Regarding trading, the developers expressed their happiness at finding this solution. However, they will pay attention to agent feedback and will gladly make changes if required.
- The update “Incursions” will be applied during the maintenance on April 12th. Agents should be able to download it by 12 PM at the latest.
