In The Division, the State of the Game for this week just took place. No exploits or glitches were fixed during the maintenance on March 29.
Hamish Bode, the Community Developer, had a developer from Massive as a guest during this week’s State of the Game, who announced directly that there will be no patch this week. Therefore, we cannot report any patch notes today. Only server adjustments were made during the maintenance.
State of the Game is the weekly stream show for The Division that takes place during maintenance, where the present and future of the MMO shooter is discussed.
It was noted that there will be weekly maintenance every Tuesday in the future. This week, however, the changes are only server-side, so agents will not find any changes in the game. The developers cannot deploy a comprehensive patch or hotfix every week.
No exploit or glitch was fixed – no patch this week
As for the backpack issues in The Division that we reported, no reliable solution has been found yet. The problem has numerous causes, and the team is working hard to fix it. When a fix will be available could not be stated today. However, the team asks for further detailed reports from the community to find solutions more quickly.
The livestream did not address the resolution of further issues and exploits. In the Ubi forum, Natchai Stappers reported that the team is aware of the exploits and is working on them. These are of course not intended.
Scavenging only affects the quality of drops
In response to Bode’s inquiry about how scavenging affects drops – this is a frequently asked question from the community – the developer answered during the State of the Game that there is no guaranteed loot in The Division.
Scavenging does not affect the drop rates but only the quality of these drops. However, how this is calculated was not mentioned.
Date for “Incursions” still unknown
In a hangout with YouTubers Arekkz Gaming and TwoSixNine, which took place before the State of the Game, Hamish Bode gave a few vague hints about what we can expect in the future:
- There is still no specific date for the “Incursions” update, which is supposed to be released in April. More information will follow soon.
- Additionally, more challenge modes are on the way.
- Hamish Bode also mentioned that exciting new content will come to the Dark Zone. However, he cannot confirm anything yet.
The servers have been available again on time since 12 PM.
