With this solo build for The Division 1.7 you can take on opposing agents alone in PvP. Especially suitable for the Dark Zone and Last Stand.
If many of your friends have lost motivation for the shared-world shooter after the first global event in The Division 1.7 and you are now wandering alone through the post-apocalypse, we have a powerful build for you that allows you to venture solo into the Dark Zone.
The build comes from MarcoStyle, who claims to enjoy creating new builds that allow for solo play against other agents – and that also hold chances. Now he presents the solo PvP build that he personally uses in 1.7:
Almost only High Ends and Exotics
Although the secret gear sets have the best stats of all armor pieces since update 1.7, MarcoStyle mainly relies on exotic and high-end armor pieces in this solo build. The reason: While the previous secret gear sets allow for excellent specialization in certain play styles, such as a one-shot sniper build, the high ends and exotics provide important bonuses for solo players.
These are the armor pieces:
- Chest Piece: Barret’s Bulletproof Vest (No skill on cooldown grants +10% skill power, 1 skill on cooldown increases damage by 5%, and two skills on cooldown increase armor by 10%) – Additionally bonuses to skill haste, health, and ammunition capacity. As a solo player, you need high damage output to eliminate opposing agents quickly. Otherwise, they will flank you or can easily revive each other.
- Mask: High-end with Refreshing (Healing is increased by 30% when the last segment of the health bar is reached) – Additionally bonuses to skill power and burn resistance
- Knee Pads: Secret Lone Wolf with bonuses to health, damage against elite, and resistances – You can also take shortbows
- Backpack: High-end with Specialized (200% of firearms and stamina are added to skill power) with bonuses to health and bleed resistance
- Gloves: Skulls MC (Damage is increased by 16% when no set bonuses are active) with bonus to assault rifle damage, skill haste, and crit chance.
- Holster: Bliss (Hitting a target multiple times in a row with a pistol increases weapon damage with all weapons by 2% for 20 seconds, stackable) with skill haste. If you are familiar with this play style, you can gain some advantages in damage output.

For the main attributes, pay attention mainly to firearms and electronics. For the mods, you need bonuses to electronics, skill haste, and self-healing for first aid. You can see the stats in the image above.
The Weapons and Talents of the Build
Two “M4 Lightweight” assault rifles are used. One M4 has important damage talents (Competent, Keen, and Responsive), while the second M4 has talents for the skills (Gifted, Determined, and Talented). The second M4 is important for recharging skills and individual skill between fights.
Both weapons have the same mods that improve headshot damage and crits.
A 93R is used for the pistol – with Expert and Cool Headed.
The Skills:
- Pulse with the Chopper mod
- First Aid with Adrenaline Syringe
- Recovery Link
The Character Talents:
- Triage: Also grants solo players a bonus when the Rescue Med is active
- Rescue Med: Use a first aid kit at low health to increase damage resistance by 20% for 10 seconds
- Counter: Reach low health to reduce the active cooldown time for skills by 20%
- On the Move: Killing an enemy while moving reduces damage taken by 15% for 10 seconds
Keep in mind that while this is a strong build, it does not guarantee that you will make it alone against multiple agents. You need to cleverly utilize the skills and bonuses and should not rush into the enemy group with your eyes wide open.
