In The Division, you can now show your agent builds to the worldwide community. Massive has launched “Build of the Week” (BOTW).
Have you always created the very best builds and scoffed at all the builds that this “Mein-MMO” site has introduced over the months? Are you the greatest theorycrafters and feel ready to present your accumulated insights to the agency?
Then Massive now offers you a platform for that. They opened the “Builds-Subforum” in the Ubi forum, where you can present your character setups and discuss them freely with other agents. Once a week, Massive will then raise a finger, point it at a build, and say: This is the Build of the Week!
Here’s how you can participate in BOTW
Here’s how it goes:
- You can reach the Builds-Subforum through the provided link.
- Now, present your build in detail and mark it in the title with BOTW. This is the abbreviation for “Build of the Week” and shows Massive that you want to submit this build.
This information must be included:
- A screenshot of your loadout (best uploaded with Imgur)
- The primary stats (weapons, stamina, electronics)
- Any higher and lower attributes that are relevant to the build
- Gear talents and set bonuses
- Weapons and weapon talents
- Character talents
- Pro tips to help other agents replicate the build
Every week, during the “State of the Game”, the regular update from Massive, the BOTW will be presented. Usually, thousands of agents watch it live or view a recording of it later.
But this “fame” is not the only reward: The creator of the winning build receives an additional prize. What this will be is still unknown.
Especially after the launch of 1.6 and “Last Stand”, it will be interesting to see how players build their agents. The dominance of the AlphaBridge build is likely over.
