In The Division, the servers are down today, on October 5th. Additionally, Ubisoft is working on their global online services. A major Ubisoft server maintenance is underway.
In The Division, the second global event called Raid is currently taking place. Numerous agents are now on the hunt for global event credits to purchase loot containers with chances for the new, secret gear sets.
However, you must take a break from your quest for loot today: Because the servers are down for several hours. Both Massive and Ubisoft are working on their server infrastructure.
In The Division, only regular maintenance is currently taking place:
- Today, on October 5th, the servers will be shut down at 9:30 AM. Maintenance will begin. The server downtime is expected to last three hours, so you could be back to playing as of 12:30 PM, unless there is another maintenance happening at the same time.
Ubisoft Maintenance:
- Ubisoft is conducting global maintenance today from 6 AM to 2 PM. During this time, disconnects may occur. Both Ubisoft’s online games (not just The Division) as well as the online features, forums, and websites are affected.
Ubisoft aims to improve services during this maintenance and prepare them for the upcoming Christmas season.
What changes today in The Division?
The Division developers are using today’s maintenance to bring two changes:
- The premium vendor’s offerings will receive an update
- A bug related to an upcoming special event will be fixed
Which special event is being referred to here will become clear in the future. Just last week, the developers announced that they had planned several special events for agents in October. This includes a Halloween event.
We will likely learn more about these events today during the State of the Game, which starts at 5 PM. We will report on this promptly.
