The servers are down for The Division today, on February 16th. Maintenance work is ongoing for several hours. The State of the Game is expected today.
Today, Thursday, is the weekly server maintenance in The Division. In the past few days, the developers worked on the servers, restarted them, and tackled performance issues and lag. Now the work continues.
- At 9:30 AM, the game servers on PS4, Xbox One, and PC will be shut down. The expected downtime is three hours, so the maintenance should be completed around 12:30 PM.
No changelog will be provided this week. Therefore, there will be no noticeable changes to the player experience today.
Massive is likely preparing everything for Update 1.6 and “Last Stand” to ensure they can be implemented as smoothly as possible. This evening, the State of the Game will take place, the weekly briefing from Massive. We may receive fresh information about the future of The Division – and perhaps an official release date for 1.6. It starts at 5 PM, and we will report on it.
