Today, on March 9th, there is a server maintenance for The Division. The servers are down for several hours, with fixes and improvements coming in the “Last Stand” mode.
Update: There will be another server downtime tonight. The servers are expected to become more stable. The information is in the link.
Regular maintenance is taking place today, Thursday. Every Thursday, the developers take the servers down, work in the background on the servers, and occasionally deploy bug fixes, balancing patches, and error corrections. Especially in the first weeks after a major update, problem resolutions come weekly. As is the case today.
- At 9:30 AM our time, the servers will go offline. The estimated downtime is three hours. You can return to the fray around 12:30 PM.

What changes with today’s maintenance? Massive reports three new features, all related to the PvP mode “Last Stand”:
- A bug is being fixed that allowed players to gain points through healing skills in Last Stand.
- A bug is being addressed that sometimes placed you in full sessions in Last Stand.
- The matchmaking in Last Stand is being improved: The priority for matching you with players from the same geographical region is being increased.
The first bug fix addresses a problem that agents have been complaining about for days. This concerns a glitch that granted users a ton of points and thus countless loot crates. Some claimed that “Last Stand” was unplayable because of this. Massive responded that a solution would come as soon as possible. Today, Thursday, it has arrived.
