Today, on August 18th, maintenance work is taking place on The Division. The servers are offline for several hours.
The developers at Massive are getting back to work. After being scarce for three weeks and not even having the routine maintenance last week, The Division is gradually picking up speed again.
So today we are experiencing a server downtime. They will start at 9 AM our time. They are expected to last three hours, so you can log in again around 12 PM.
What is changing today?
No game changes are being implemented. All changes are taking place in the background. This is intended to optimize the servers and clean up the databases a bit.
Today we also expect the “State of the Game,” the inventory report from Hamish Bode, which we had to do without for three whole weeks. We are curious to see what he has to report. However, Bode tweeted just a few days ago that one shouldn’t expect any big announcements.
