In the shared-world shooter The Division, maintenance work is taking place today, on August 25th.
Since last week, everything has returned to normal at Massive and The Division. After the developers were sparse for three weeks, operations are now gradually picking up again.
Thus, the weekly maintenance work is also taking place today. At the usual time and with the usual duration of server downtime: The work starts at 9 AM our time. The servers are expected to remain offline for about three hours, so you can log back in around 12 PM and keep law and order in the post-apocalypse of New York.
This week, not only are the servers being worked on: Two bug fixes are also coming.
What is changing today?
As soon as the server status is back online, you will find the following changes in the game:
- A bug is being fixed that allowed agents to claim rewards from the daily missions multiple times a day. This was possible by simply logging into the game again.
- Additionally, the AlphaBridge talent is being fixed. No more sawn-off shotguns will benefit from this bonus. The talents of sidearms are no longer affected by the effect.
However, these are not the only changes today: The State of the Game, the weekly situation report in the livestream, will not take place in the morning, but only at 6 PM. This was communicated by community developer Hamish Bode. No reasons for this new timeslot were given.
We at Mein-MMO will certainly watch this – maybe with a beer in hand – and provide a summary with all important news and announcements as soon as possible.
The State of the Game from last week caused quite a stir: Although there were no major announcements, there were extraordinary admissions that are likely unique in this form.
