Today, maintenance work is being carried out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC for The Division. The server status will be “offline.” What’s coming, what is changing?
Regular maintenance work is being held today. While last week saw a whopping five hours scheduled, today it is – as usual – three hours.
The servers will go down at 9 AM our time. The expected server downtime is set to last for 3 hours, so you can log back in at 12 PM.
The challenge mode of “Clear Sky” is coming – and bug fixes
In the Ubi forum, community manager Natchai Stappers will present the changelog on June 9th. It contains the happy news: “Activated Clear Sky Challenge Mode.” This means, after the maintenance work, we can tackle the incursion “Clear Sky” on Challenging difficulty. This difficulty level was supposed to go live a week ago, but there were complications with the patch.
So, this afternoon we can see for ourselves whether the challenge mode really becomes the challenge that Massive promised. It is said to be tougher compared to “Falcon Lost”.
Additionally, two bugs will be fixed during the server downtime:
- A bug will be fixed that teleported players automatically to a safe house or a checkpoint. This occurred in DZ06 areas and in an Electronic Store in the open world.
- Furthermore, the “No-Respawn-Zone” at the entrance of “Clear Sky” will be moved. This is intended to reduce the risk of players mistakenly entering the instance before the squad is formed.
If no further bugs occur with this patch, all content from the May update will be available to agents starting today.
During the work, the State of the Game is also running, the weekly report on The Division. We will report shortly on what the developers have to say.
