In The Division today, on December 22nd, a server maintenance will take place. Two changes will be made during this time.
In Ubisoft’s MMO shooter, the developers perform maintenance every Thursday to work on server stability or to deploy bug fixes in the background. This Thursday’s maintenance is only canceled if the servers were already down on Tuesday to deploy DLCs or title updates.
Last Tuesday, the Survival DLC was released on PS4, but regular maintenance will still take place today on all platforms. The reason: Two changes are coming.
It starts at 9:30 AM. The servers are expected to be down for 3 hours, so you can play again around 12:30 PM.
What changes today?
The changelog specifies two changes:
- A problem is being fixed that unexpectedly caused players to be stuck in a queue for a long time when starting the player search for Survival.
- Additionally, another issue with Larae Barrett will be resolved. If she is killed on the balcony, the loot will no longer get stuck on the balcony but will spawn directly with the player.
