Today, on December 1st, maintenance is taking place in The Division. The servers are offline and there are bug fixes.
Since Tuesday, the PS4 agents are also up to date regarding major title updates. Patch 1.5 has been released with a one-week delay. This also means that the weekly maintenance can now properly occur simultaneously on all platforms. As it does today.
On PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the online services will be shut down at 9:30 AM. The expected server downtime is three hours, so you can start loot hunting again at 12:30 PM.
What changes today
Some changes are coming today, Thursday. The changelog is packed; it hasn’t been this full during a weekly maintenance in quite some time:
- A bug was fixed that caused Larae Barret to get stuck on the balcony in the Lexington Event Center.
- The armor piece named after Barret had a bug that caused it not to function properly during “phase transitions” – even when a player dies. Note that today’s change will not be displayed in the UI as it requires a client patch.

- Colones Bliss’s holster (also a named armor piece) can now drop correctly in the “General Assembly” mission.
- All existing high-end items below level 30 will be rerolled to level 30. In the future, all high-end items will come at level 30, even if a player below level 30 receives one. If a player below level 30 has equipped a high-end item, it will be automatically removed during this maintenance and replaced with standard gear.
- A bug was fixed that caused players to get stuck on a black screen after viewing the final cutscene in Brooklyn.
- The PvP modifier for the sticky grenade has been reduced. “One shots” with the sticky grenade are still possible, but only if players are highly specialized characters – and only in specific situations.
We have already written about the dominance of sticky grenades and how to defend against them here.
