Images of some outfits from other Ubisoft games have appeared in The Division. You can also snag the “Rainbow Six Siege” outfit.
With the Incursions update, Ubisoft Massive introduced new content and features, such as the endgame activity “Lost Falcon” or the Gear Score. Now, screenshots have surfaced that are said to show new clothing items for the Division agents. Or is this just a hoax?
Assassin through Manhattan
The reddit user Wooleyful reported that after updating to 1.1, he started his Xbox and played The Division. He noticed that some of his clothing items were missing. A look into his inventory amazed him: he supposedly found some new items, including outfits from Ubisoft games Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell, and Watch Dogs. Considering that Massive’s MMO shooter has suffered numerous bugs and glitches since the 1.1 update, it wouldn’t be too surprising if future outfits accidentally appeared.
We remain skeptical about these images. For one, this user seems to be the only player who has “randomly” received these outfit packs, as there are no further images of them online. On the other hand, it is no longer a big challenge today to assemble something like this using image editing software. This matter should be treated with utmost caution.
The “Rainbow Six Siege” outfit is currently free
However, we can report with certainty that agents can currently acquire the “Rainbow Six Siege” outfit for free. Here’s how to get it:
Download the Uplay app on your PC, log in, and add Rainbow Six Siege to your library. You don’t even have to start the download of the game. Currently, a free “Rainbow Six Siege” weekend is ongoing on PC, allowing you to do this at no additional cost.
You can also get the outfit this way on consoles. Afterwards, you need to select and unlock the reward in the Ubisoft Club for free. Now visit the reward vendor in the Operations Base in The Division and grab the outfit.
