In the MMO shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division, a video shows how long some PvP fights in the Dark Zone can last.
Since the conflict update, a new value called Toughness has been introduced, which reflects health and armor value and transparently shows players how robust they are against enemy bullets. Especially in the Dark Zone, many agents now swear by extremely high Toughness values and craft builds with “Toughness” beyond the magical 500k mark.
With this, they want to gain advantages over other agents, but also over the unpleasant NPCs. The motto is: Those who can take more, stay alive longer. However, when agents meet each other who all have high Toughness values, a confrontation can drag on.
This PVP battle lasts forever
The agent Yuri Weiner shows in the video a rather extensive fight against four rogue agents: He and a random other agent team up against the rogue group. What follows is probably one of the longest close-range PvP battles you have ever seen. Take a look:
The community’s reactions to this video vary: Some “pro gamers” see a chance to make fun of the aim skills shown in the video. Others simply find it amusing and draw comparisons to airsoft guns. The video is definitely entertaining.
In the end – after some minutes of shooting – the two agents emerge victorious. The four rogues probably had less fun in this encounter.
What do you think of this video? How high is your agent’s Toughness?
