Today, on April 27th, the servers for The Division are down. Maintenance is taking place on the live servers and the PTS. “PTS 2” is coming.
The current PTS build has been tested enough, now it’s time for the second round. Last Friday, the public test servers went live, where PC agents should try out the new features of update 1.6.1 and provide feedback. Among other things, the loadout feature is available.
As part of today’s maintenance, PTS phase 2 will be rolled out. This means that Massive will bring some bug fixes and adjustments. For this, the servers will be down for several hours:
- The live servers and the PTS will be taken down on April 27th at 9:30 AM. The estimated downtime is 3 hours, so you should be able to play again by 12:30 PM.

What is changing today?
In the main game, nothing is changing. The second round is coming to the PTS. The patch notes were published during the morning. Three important aspects are mentioned:
- The aim assist for hip fire will not be activated when you play with a controller. Hip fire is going to be extensively revised in the future.
- The Agile talent will be adjusted: You no longer have to stay in cover to maintain the healing effect over time.
- There was a bug with the air detonation mode of the seeker mine in the PTS that prevented the planned damage change from being activated. This will be left as is. The changes to stagger and the fire effect are sufficient for now.
You can find all the changes in the patch notes in the Division forum.
We expect further information from Massive around 5 PM today. The State of the Game will take place then.
We have dealt with a change that is supposed to be brought by 1.6.1:
