In The Division, we look at how the “PS4 Pro” support affects the graphics.
Since December 20th, the Update 1.10 for PS4 agents is live, which brought support for the PS4 Pro. There was much speculation beforehand about what improvements this patch would bring for Sony’s new console.
As of yesterday, we know:
- The user interface, the UI, will be rendered in 4K and the game in 1080p.
- Improved graphics settings for better shadows and reflections.
But how does this look in practice? In the following video by Arekkz, you will get a comparison of the graphics between the standard PS4 and PS4 Pro:
Unfortunately, the hoped-for frame rate increase or native 4K did not come. On Reddit, some agents expressed disappointment about it.
