In The Division, the beta client is expected to be large, but there will also be a buffer to download the beta.

Recently, the approximate size of The Division beta was leaked: It’s about 26 gigabytes. Some groaned: “I might only be able to play a few hours on the last day if I have downloaded it by then. Hopefully, they offer a preload.”
As it seems: They will. On the French Facebook page of The Division, a player asked exactly that. He received a response that the download will start 48 hours before the beta begins. Ubisoft hopes that’s enough for the buffer.
The beta starts on January 28 for Xbox One, and PC and PlayStation 4 join in on January 29. It ends on January 31. The official release date for The Division is March 8.
