The Division: This NinjaBike build prepares you against everything in PvE

We present to you a NinjaBike build for The Division. This time, the focus is on PvE.

After we already introduced the NinjaBike Backpack with a PvP build as an alternative to Classified sets, we now want to show you an interesting PvE variant.

The focus here is on the sets “Watch’s Call” and “Tactician.” With this mix, you are able to deal high damage, increase your group’s damage through the Watch markers, and support your team thanks to 50% cooldown and high skill strength with your skills.

These parts are required for the build

Which parts you take from which set doesn’t matter. You need 3 “Watch’s Call” and 2 Tactician parts to create this build. I use this combination:

  • NinjaBike Backpack with skill strength and ammunition
  • Watch’s Call Vest with skill haste, health points, and ammunition
  • Watch’s Call Mask with skill strength and damage against elite
  • Watch’s Call Holster with skill haste
  • Tactician Kneepads with skill strength and damage against elite
  • Tactician Gloves with skill haste, assault rifle/sniper rifle damage, and enemy armor damage

Note: You can also take health points instead of skill strength for the backpack, mask, and kneepads if you want more toughness. However, this will reduce the effectiveness of your skills.

Thanks to the NinjaBike Backpack, you have now unlocked these bonuses:

Watch’s Call

  • 2-piece bonus: 30% precision
  • 3-piece bonus: 10% headshot damage
  • 4-piece bonus: Headshots with semi-automatic weapons mark the enemy and increase the damage done by 5% for 30 seconds. The target can receive up to 3 marks

Tactician

  • 2-piece bonus: 15% skill haste
  • 3-piece bonus: 10% skill strength

It doesn’t matter if you use normal or classified parts. In my set (with classified parts), I have 5016 firearms, 5528 stamina, and 5264 electronics. These values are what you should aim for. If you prefer a different distribution, you can of course try that.

Be careful not to go below 5000 firearms, as you won’t be able to unlock the required weapon talents and will deal too little damage.

On your mods, you should have skill haste. This gives you a 50% reduced cooldown and high skill strength, making your skills much more effective.

The weapons of the build

To take advantage of the Watch’s Call set, you must use semi-automatic weapons. These include sniper rifles, shotguns, and pistols.

Additionally, there is the exotic Urban MDR, which is considered one of the strongest weapons in the game. This is also used in my build, and I additionally use a custom M44, one of the strongest repeating sniper rifles.

The talents:

  • Urban MDR with Brutal (headshot damage), Destructive (enemy armor damage), and the exotic talent Distracted (18% damage bonus when the target has a status effect)
  • M44 – Custom with Prepared (15% damage bonus at a distance of 30+ meters), Destructive (armor damage), and Malicious (10% damage bonus against elite enemies)

To effectively play this build, you should move at medium to long range.

This is perfectly suited for medium distances, has high base damage, and with a bit of practice is very precise. This allows you to mark enemies and increase the damage of the entire group. For greater distances, the M44 comes into play. Alternatively, you can use the M700 Carbon version or the SVD.

Both weapons use the mods presented in this build that increase headshot damage.

The abilities

You have a lot of freedom here. For this build, we use:

  • Turret with flamethrower mod
  • Sticky bomb with flash effect
  • Recovery Link

With the turret and the sticky bomb, you can hold enemy groups at bay, which can especially help melee fighters in your team, and you benefit from the exotic talent of the Urban MDR, as it deals 18% more damage to enemies affected by a status effect.

The fire turret can protect against enemies that get too close to you. Additionally, performance mods further increase turret damage.

These skills are designed for group play. If you are out alone, it’s advisable to pick either the medkit or the first aid skill.

The character talents

  • Emergency Medicine: Use a first aid kit at low health to increase damage resistance by 20% for 10 seconds
  • Counter: Reach negative health points to reduce the active cooldown time for skills by 20%
  • Field Medic: Use a first aid kit near allies to heal group members and helpers within 20 meters by 40%
  • Precision: A headshot on an enemy marks them for 10 seconds

With Field Medic, you are able to heal your teammates despite missing a healing skill, and Counter and Emergency Medicine help you survive in emergencies. With Precision, you can locate enemies through headshot hits like with the Impulse Generator and receive similar damage bonuses.

If you play alone, you can replace Field Medic with Adrenaline or Steady Hands.

A strong all-round build for PvE

This build is suitable for players who want to be prepared for most situations and enjoy using semi-automatic weapons. You can complete almost all PvE activities with it. Legendary missions are still challenging, but with a good team, they are also doable.

It’s not about presenting the “best” or “strongest” set. We want to show you how diverse your options are when creating your own combinations. You don’t have to limit yourself to pure DPS, tank, or skill builds.

The inspiration for this build comes from YouTuber LethalvD, but his idea is a bit more offensive and less skill-oriented. This one is also very strong.
