In The Division, agents have found a new farming spot for purple items and Phoenix Credits. This time it is not about Bullet King, but Hutch.
After Ubisoft Massive recently blocked the loot exploit about Bullet King, a new farming spot has emerged that is spreading rapidly via social media.
In the first mission “Madison Field Hospital”, there is a bug with the boss enemy Hutch under certain circumstances that allows players to quickly and easily obtain superior items and Phoenix Credits. Many agents are now taking advantage of this.

Even though we do not recommend exploiting this bug in any way, we do not want to withhold this information from you. This farming spot is currently spreading like wildfire on the internet.
You only need to start the mission “Madison Field Hospital” on the Hard difficulty and fight your way to the final battle. On the roof, the named enemy Hutch awaits along with his friends. However, you leave them be, rush to the boss, and kill him before he can jump down from his pedestal.
This is supposedly the crucial factor: If Hutch jumps down, you must restart the mission as it will not work otherwise. Apparently, he jumps down if you defeat all enemies or get too close to the orange waypoint.
If you manage to kill Hutch before he jumps down, his “shadow,” a replica of him, will spawn after a short time. This enemy, which you must now defeat, remains nameless. Once you have dealt with this Hutch copy, you will receive some credits and superior items. Let yourself be killed afterward and start the process anew. This way, you can obtain Phoenix Credits and purple items in a short time.
The following video shows this loot exploit with moving images:
It remains to be seen when and how Ubisoft Massive will respond to this problem. One can probably expect no reaction over the extended Easter weekend. Apparently, Bullet King has already found an early successor.
