The Division Resurgence introduces a new feature that will shorten boring moments and save time while grinding.
What will the new game in the series be?
- The Division Resurgence is an upcoming loot shooter in the “The Division” series from Ubisoft and is set to be released as a free-to-play game for mobile devices.
- The gameplay is primarily based on some fundamentals that Division players know from parts 1 and 2.
- In addition to the familiar gameplay principle of looting and leveling, there will also be cover mechanics in gunfights, an open world, and a third-person perspective.

The perfect feature if you are not a fan of cutscenes
What kind of feature is this? The Division Resurgence will have a fast-forward function for cutscenes. If you find a cutscene boring or there is too little happening in the shown sequences, you can simply fast forward.
The Division Resurgence differs in this respect from many other games where you usually only have the option to skip a cutscene entirely.
Even when we look at the major story games that were released in 2023, we never have the option to fast forward in a cutscene. It doesn’t matter whether we are talking about Starfield, Alan Wake 2, or Baldur’s Gate 3.
The fast-forwarding could become an interesting middle ground to experience the interesting parts of a cutscene while not having to listen to minutes of boring dialogue.
What’s next for the “The Division” series? Ubisoft’s loot shooter series will receive at least three more installments that are currently in development and are set to be released in the coming years.
