In The Division, agents can test the loadouts and the Proficiency Marks in Last Stand today, April 21st. The PTS for Update 1.6.1 goes live today. The patch notes are here.
Update: Starting from 4:30 PM, the PTS servers will be offline for about an hour to fix issues with character import.
PC agents can access the PTS build of The Division from 2 PM today. This has been updated to 1.6.1 by Massive, and includes many bug fixes along with some new features. The launch of the public test servers was announced yesterday, and today the developers provided the patch notes.
These patch notes describe the changes between the current version 1.6 and the version available on the PTS. Keep in mind that the patch notes may change during the PTS phase.
Loadouts, Proficiency Marks, and DZ Adjustments
The new feature Loadouts allows you to save weapons, gear, skills, and talents. You can quickly switch between your builds without having to reconfigure your character for a long time. You can create up to 6 loadouts per character. You can switch between the loadouts anytime when you are outside of combat.
A new feature in the “Last Stand” mode are the Proficiency Marks. These are awards that players receive for outstanding performance. Each team has its own list of Proficiency Marks. A single player can earn several of them. During the match, these awards are updated in real time on the scoreboard. If you earn such awards at the end of the matches (for example, through the best KD), you will receive a boost to your personal score, and thus more rewards.
In the Dark Zone (outside of Last Stand), you will receive more rewards when you clear landmarks. You earn Dark Zone XP, currency, and a non-contaminated item that goes directly into your inventory. Additionally, several locations in the DZ have been adjusted to prevent unfair encounters.
Furthermore, the patch notes contain numerous bug fixes and balance adjustments. Among other things, flinch in PvE and PvP is significantly reduced, and the seeking mine with the air detonation mod will be adjusted. You can find the complete patch notes in the Division forum.
Update: PTS are now live. Underground, Survival, and Last Stand are available. You need the season pass to play the DLC content. This PTS phase will be online for a few days.
