In The Division, it is possible to successfully complete the Survival mode in 9 minutes.
How long does it take you for a successfully completed survival session? 45 minutes? An hour? Are you scratching two hours?
A few weeks ago, the developers published the number of how long the average Survival session lasts in PvE and PvP: 41 minutes. However, this includes all runs, even those that ended in the agent’s death.
The YouTuber and streamer IamChappie shows that you can successfully achieve the fun in significantly shorter time: In a crazy 9 minutes, he sprints solo through Manhattan, grabs the flare gun, takes down the Hunter, and escapes with the helicopter. Impossible? Then take a look at this:
When every loading time becomes a torment
The YouTuber achieves this feat by
- only sprinting towards the Dark Zone at the beginning
- leaving all enemies behind
- only opening a few crates to have crafting materials for the virus filter
- completely neglecting the cold (he burns once, which warms the agent)
- and constantly yelling at his agent and the loading times to hurry up.
In the video, he enters the Dark Zone already at 3:55. There, he grabs Division Tech from a crate and crafts the flare gun. At minute 6:34, he fires the gun. Afterwards, he gets lucky with the Hunter, as he can be easily taken out from a distance – with the gun! By the time the helicopter appears, he still has time to grab a sealed container.

What do users say about it in the comments? Almost everyone is impressed by this achievement and praises him for the strong speedrun. However, many find his expressions “annoying.” After all, the agent doesn’t run faster just because you yell at him with colorful words.
