With the upcoming MMO shooter The Division, there are now early signs of what players can expect in the endgame. What will they do at the max level of 30?
The Division is still suspiciously quiet about its endgame, that is, what players will do when they reach the highest level of 30. It is already known that the developers plan to continue supporting the game later with free patches and that they also want to offer paid DLC. However, they aren’t revealing anything yet about these contents and plans. They are currently working on final touches for the core game. DLCs are “not there yet.”
What happens in The Division when you are at max level?
They also want to reveal little about the endgame. Players should first look forward to what awaits them in the actual release. However, there was one piece of information provided in an interview with vg247.
With level 30, the entire Dark Zone, the PvE/PvP zone of the game, will change for players at max level. It will be “repopulated” and present challenges that correspond to this level.
The entire game will become significantly more difficult at this point. Additionally, agents can continue to improve their gear and tools. This does not stop just because someone has reached max level.
Hard Modes and Main Missions
In the interview, there were also insights into the internal structure of the game. The “main missions,” of which there are more than 10 in the game, are linear experiences, like roller coaster rides. They balance out the otherwise open world where players can move freely.
Furthermore, there will be a “hard mode” for all missions in The Division, which combines greater challenges with different rewards. These hard modes will be accessible from the very beginning, even if they are not necessarily suited for everyone to start right away. They are not designed for the “average player,” it is stated.
The Division will be released on March 8 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. A short closed beta for all platforms is scheduled for the end of January.
