In the MMO shooter The Division the beta has been extended by 24 hours on short notice. The reason is the high demand.
Actually, the beta of The Division was supposed to end on Monday afternoon. The servers were supposed to go down at 12:00 PM.
Due to the high demand, the beta for PS4, PC, and Xbox One has now been extended until Tuesday at 12:00 PM. They have added 24 hours.
This is to ensure that as many players,who want to try out The Division and are on waiting lists can also play. They are overwhelmed by the large turnout.
Today, Ubisoft began sending out invitations to those players who have been on the waiting list the longest. They are doing everything to get as many players as possible into the game. And to make sure they get something out of it, they are extending the beta.
