In The Division, the first raid “Falcon Lost” is reportedly extremely challenging. Even some developers have not successfully completed this endgame content.
The centerpiece of the upcoming update 1.1 will be the new endgame content “Incursions”. The first raid is named “Falcon Lost” and is expected to challenge even the most experienced agents.
This is further supported by the statements of lead designer Matthias Karlson and his colleague Andrada Gregiuc (Lead Economic Designer): In a podcast led by Hamish Bode, they revealed that neither of them has been able to successfully complete “Falcon Lost” so far.
This, however, is not only due to the demanding difficulty level, but also to the fresh gameplay mechanics and previously unknown enemy types. For example, agents will face drones in this raid.
When agents complete this activity – thus behaving more skillfully than the developers themselves – valuable rewards will await them. Karlson states:
Raids are our toughest challenges in the game, with the best rewards.
The raids will be the “source of the coolest stuff”. From this endgame content, players will be able to obtain parts of the gear sets. The specifics of the completion rewards remain to be seen. Perhaps this will also allow you to obtain the new named high-end weapons in The Division.
