In The Division, forums and video platforms still have numerous exploits to make it easier to get loot in the “Falcon Lost” raid. Massive is already examining what penalties can be imposed on the glitchers.
On Friday night, a hotfix was released by Massive, intended to fix the most well-known “Falcon Lost exploit.” Players could glitch through a wall and defeat the final boss without resistance. Even though, or precisely because this issue has now been fixed, some agents have already found new ways to trick the game mechanics to get the tasty loot.
Mobile Cover is the Means of Many Exploits
Particularly noticeable among all the old and new exploits: Agents often glitch through the game’s walls using the “Mobile Cover” skill, outsmarting the physics. Some agents speculate that disabling the cover could be a long-term solution to avoid exploits and glitches.
We will not describe what new exploits are present in “Falcon Lost,” as every player will stumble upon them with just a few clicks in forums and on YouTube. Additionally, we advise all agents against using these methods to gain unfair advantages. Ubisoft Massive is already reviewing what can be done regarding penalties.
The Exploitation of Exploits Should Be Punished in The Division
As Community Manager Natchai Stappers writes in the Ubi forum, the team will look into what actions can be taken regarding penalties for glitchers. After all, this behavior violates the Code of Conduct of The Division, which you can read here.
It specifically mentions that “Exploitation,” the use of a new or known issue or bug, is prohibited and can lead to account suspension.
This message from the Community Manager was posted in a thread calling for the deactivation of the entire raid. One user suggested that “Falcon Lost” should simply be turned off until all issues are resolved.
Stappers’ statements sparked a discussion about whether penalties for glitchers are truly justified, even if stated in the Code of Conduct. After all, it is the developers’ responsibility to deliver a bug-free game to customers.
