In The Division, we look at an efficient farming method that allows solo agents to quickly get loot after 1.5.
Since updates 1.4 and 1.5, no one can complain about not enough loot. Every enemy can now drop relevant items. You earn numerous objects through every activity that you can use to optimize your builds.
Some agents might still say: “That’s still not fast enough for me. What method gets me loot in the most efficient way?”
The YouTuber MarcoStyle has addressed this question and is now introducing a farming method that he believes is the best – and suitable for solo agents. No glitches or exploits are used, like with the “new” Bullet King:
How to Get Tons of Loot
This method needs to be prepared first, but it is feasible for agents who are running around without optimized builds.
Preparation:
You need four parts of the AlphaBridge set and knee pads with the Accomplished talent, which gives you more rewards through commendations. You should also look for increased XP gain per kill on your armor (or mods) with low attributes.
Otherwise, you need to increase damage using firearms and, for example, damage against elites. Now choose two snipers with talents that provide damage bonuses and these two talents:
- Talent: Headshot kills with this weapon increase resources for your skills by 5%
- Challenging: Every elimination achieved with an active skill extends its duration by 5 to 20%
For skills, choose the Mobile Cover with Countermeasures and First Aid with the Stimulant.
And here’s how it works:
Start the story mission “Lincoln Tunnel.” Choose World Tier 5 and the difficulty “Challenging.” Fight your way to the tunnel entrance until the JTF NPC starts defusing the bomb.
Position yourself with Mobile Cover near the tunnel entrance. This is where the farming spot begins, and you perform the method again and again:
Activate the individual skill “Tactical Link” and the Stimulant and take out the approaching enemies as precisely as possible with headshots. Thanks to the preparation, Tactical Link is almost always available.
Once the bomb is defused, no new enemies will spawn. Let yourself be killed and restart this section: Eliminate the enemies approaching the tunnel over and over.
The enemies you defeat drop many items. However, the special thing about this method is: You gain massive experience points and thus sealed containers containing objects and Phoenix Credits. Headshot kills provide extra XP, so you can proceed even more efficiently if you’re more precise with your shots.
By the way: There is an ammo box in the tunnel to prevent running out of bullets too quickly.
