On The Division, the vendors received fresh goods on 2.7. Let’s take a look at their offers.
After the 1.3 update – which is still missing on PS4 – the vendors received new items in their inventory. Furthermore, new vendors have been added. One question is: Where is it still worth spending your currency?
Special Equipment Vendor’s Offer
This vendor in the Tech Wing not only has items but has also lost significance. He still demands Phoenix Credits, but you cannot reach the new highest Gear Score with his goods. The weapons of this vendor have a value of 204, while the new maximum is 229. The armor pieces are also significantly below the maximum.
Therefore, this vendor is basically only worth visiting to rank up from low values. In advanced endgame, he is less exciting. But keep in mind that items with lower scores but excellent talents can be strong. Now that weapon talents can also be re-rolled, few agents will settle for a 204 weapon.
Additionally, he sells blueprints, all of value 268 and available from Rank 40:
FireCrest Knee Pads: 702 PCs
B.L.I.N.D Knee Pads: 699 PCs
Blueprints with value 240 and Rank 30:
B.L.I.N.D. Knee Pads: 501 PCs
B.L.I.N.D. Holster: 507 PCs
FireCrest Holster: 508 PCs
The Underground Vendor has other blueprints with lower values in his inventory.
Offer of the Dark Zone Weapon Vendor
You can visit this vendor in the safe room in DZ03. You only receive his weapons if you bring Dark Zone currency and have certain DZ Ranks. Since the 1.3 update, he is not as exciting as he once was. His weapons do not exceed value 204 – except for one!
First Wave PF45 (Pistol): 76959 DZC – Value 204 (Rank 80)
First Wave PF45 (Pistol): 77144 DZC – Value 204 (Rank 80)
None of the blueprints have weapons over 204. With value 204, the Valkyria (Rank 90), LVOA-C (Rank 75), and M60 E6 – Black Market Version (Rank 75) are available. Crafting has also lost significance.
By the way: The blueprints are identical to the offer on the PS4. Only the weapons differ. Besides the PF45, there is a M9 – Military Version at Rank 80.
A visit to the Dark Zone Specialties Vendor in DZ06 is not worthwhile if you already have good gear. His set pieces and blueprints all have low values.

A visit to DZ05, on the other hand, is worthwhile: The mods and mod blueprints are excellent. From Rank 40, you can buy a CQBSS scope, which grants +22% headshot damage and +8% chance for critical hits.
From Rank 50, you can acquire this scope as a blueprint with Item Level 32. Bonus on headshots is guaranteed; the second bonus is random. For the barrel, there is a mod from Rank 50 that guarantees increased stability plus a second bonus.
Can you afford the items from the Underground Vendor? Are you already Rank 40?
