In The Division, the State of the Game just took place. We summarize the key information.
In today’s situation report, the developers talked about the last few days and the near future of The Division. First, they discussed last week’s patch, which increased weapon damage in PvP by 20%.
This adjustment has been received positively by the community, according to Massive. The time to secure a kill is now shorter, which prevents minutes-long skirmishes where no one goes down. While this measure has significantly changed PvP, it is a step in the right direction.
Moreover, there is discussion in the forums about the strong NPCs, especially the shotgun types. While some agents see them as a good challenge, others consider these enemies to be far too powerful and needing balancing. Massive is on the latter side: they also see this as a bothersome problem. However, a comprehensive client patch is needed for this, which can only be deployed with 1.4.
AlphaBridge is being fixed today, DeadEYE will be fixed tomorrow
During today’s maintenance, four bug fixes were deployed. Among them is the problem with the AlphaBridge gloves, which can display double values when re-calibrated. The developers are now reversing this. The entire process at the improvement station will be reset. You will receive your credits back if you were affected by this bug.
Additionally, two bugs related to the DeadEYE set will be fixed – but only tomorrow. The fix was initially planned for today, but errors occurred, necessitating its postponement to tomorrow.
Currently, there is a problem where the talent activates (100% chance for critical hits) while the increased headshot damage remains active (this should not be the case). Additionally, the effect of the Brutal talent will no longer be stackable.
To fix these bugs, further maintenance will take place tomorrow. However, these will be shorter than usual. Further information will be provided shortly.
Note: It was mentioned in the stream that a maximum for headshot damage will be introduced in the future. However, details were not discussed.
There will be no weekly situation report in the next three weeks, as the developers will be busy traveling. Therefore, no State of the Game can be held during the launch of Underground on the PS4.
In this article we present the DeadEYE set in The Division.
