In recent days, journalists and YouTubers have been able to properly play the upcoming RPG shooter The Division for the first time. They were in Malmö for so-called “hands-on” events, or “Now you can try it too.” YouTuber Arekkz was able to create a video about character creation that shows the individual options.
As the developers say, this is just a preliminary selection of settings. More will be available at release. In Malmö, they had a “nearly finished version” of The Division, but not a final one.
These are the options you have to customize your agent according to your vision
Under Basics, you define whether your character should be a man or a woman. Then there are various pre-made faces to choose from, as well as choices for skin and eye color.
For Hair, you can choose from different hairstyles and hair colors. As a man, you can also add impressive facial hair.
In the special Features, there are scars, war paint, and tattoos. Especially the war paint and tattoos have caught the YouTuber’s interest – with various saturations, motifs, and placement options, one seems to have quite a bit of creative freedom. If you like painting your character, you should be happy here.
In the “Accessories“, there are piercings for the nose and lips and some glasses to choose from. Again, there are numerous different motifs with which you can shape the agents according to your will … God have mercy on their poor souls.
The opportunity for you to get your hands on The Division will be at the end of the month, then the closed beta will take place. The release of The Division is scheduled for March 8 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
