In the cold post-apocalypse of The Division, there is a place that exudes warmth and harmony – right in your Operations Base.
In Tom Clancy’s The Division, there is a place where your missions are discussed, you craft weapons, acquire items, improve your gear, and accomplish many other tasks that are essential for the “fight out there”: the Operations Base. However, at this purely functional place, there is also a cozy area filled with love that radiates warmth and harmony.
While you are busy with your tasks in the Operations Base, you might easily overlook this cozy place. When you enter, head directly to the left. Then don’t turn right towards the Medical Wing, but go straight ahead. The game does not guide you here automatically, as there is basically nothing to do – however, you can discover quite a bit here.
In the far corner of the Operations Base, it feels like Christmas
If the Operations Base has been sufficiently expanded, you will find an improvised Christmas party there. There is a Christmas tree, wrapped gifts, and the stuffed stockings are ready, just as it should be:

There is even a place, a “cinema”, where people can watch a film:
What is visible is a rather short black-and-white film that runs on a loop. Presumably, the DVD selection in the Operations Base is quite limited.

As this area theoretically does not belong to any of the wings that need to be expanded, there is also no apparent reason to go to this place of warmth and harmony. Thus, it can happen that you have completed several hours of gameplay, been to the base countless times, and still have not noticed this area.
This place serves as a reminder that we work as Division agents in the name of good people, and that the city and its inhabitants are worth saving. After a long day of taking down many villains in the icy streets of New York, one gladly returns to this place of warmth.
