In The Division, we look at the exotic talents of weapons available on the PTS for Last Stand and update 1.6.
Today, on January 24th, the test phase for “Last Stand” and update 1.6 begins. The PTS will be launched. The patch notes were published yesterday. The talents of the weapon exotics can be found there.
The exotics are the revised named items that now come with unique talents. What do the exotic weapon talents do?
The bonuses of the exotic talents – PTS
The exotic talents are always active on the weapons; they do not need to be unlocked first. The other two weapon talents are rolled randomly.
- FAMAS: This assault rifle will be an exotic weapon with the already known “Simple” talent as its exotic talent.
- Medved – Center Mass: The shotgun now fires heavy slugs instead of pellets.
- Hungry Hog – Glutton: When you kill an enemy, damage is increased by 20%. The buff ends when you stop shooting. The bonus is stackable!
- Tenebrae – Lights out: By destroying enemy weak points, the skill cooldowns of you and nearby allies are reset.
- Pakhan – Pakhan: With each kill, you receive 20% more bullets in the magazine with the next reload compared to the base value.
- Liberator and Centurion (weapon set) – Free Republic: Each shot with the Liberator grants +5% damage for the next headshot with the Centurion. The maximum is +200%. Kills with the Centurion grant +10% rate of fire for all weapons for 10 seconds.
- Valkyria becomes Hildr and Eir (weapon set): Each hit with Hildr increases critical hit damage by 1% up to a maximum of 100%. This bonus decreases by 1% every second. The problem is: Hildr has no critical hit chance. This means you need to build the buff with Hildr, then switch to Eir and deal the increased damage.
- Cassidy – Boomstick: If you press the shoot button quickly in succession, the gun fires both shots quickly one after the other.
- Urban-MDR – Distracted: This bonus is already known. Damage to targets with a status effect is increased by 10%.
- Warlord – Play rough: You take 20% less damage while shooting. The damage taken is received back when you stop shooting.
- Damascus – Quickdraw: When you draw the weapon, weapon damage increases by 20% for two seconds. After two seconds, the damage is 20% lower.
- Golden Rhino – Golden Rhino: Stagger is increased by 200%.
- Historian – History repeats: Each bullet ignites itself in the target and detonates after 2 seconds for 20% skill power.
- Caduceus: Each critical hit heals you and your group by 1%.
Note that the bonuses and especially the numerical values may change before the launch of update 1.6.
Important notes:
- These exotic talents cannot be transferred with AlphaBridge.
- Exotic talents cannot be recalibrated. They are fixed.
- The talents of the exotic weapon sets only activate when both weapons are equipped.
