In The Division, we present three things that are still recommended before Patch 1.4.
Tomorrow, on October 25th, is finally the day. The October Update 1.4 is released for free on all platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC. However, maintenance work will take place beforehand, which should be completed by 12:30 PM. From then on, the new and improved player experience can begin!
Until then, there are still a few hours you can use to prepare for 1.4. The YouTuber VandalxGaming presents three things you can do now in the video. Massive recently referred to this video and said: “Yeah, do this, we recommend it too!”
Collect Currencies!
This tip was also given by community developer Hamish Bode in the last “State of the Game”: Save Phoenix Credits, Dark Zone currency, but also “regular” credits. Because after 1.4, the vendors will not only offer relevant items but also sealed containers that may contain high-quality items. With enough currency in your wallet, you can immediately obtain the revamped items and upgrade your agents. There is said to be no limit on how many of these containers you can buy.
You can quickly earn credits by defeating many enemies and completing missions. The mission “Amherst’s Apartment” is said to be well-suited for quickly gathering credits. Also, sell the dropped items to generate credits. Per hour, you can earn several hundred thousand credits in this way.
Keep Sealed Containers!
If you own the Underground DLC, you can play Underground missions. By mastering these, you earn Underground XP to level up. Upon leveling up, you receive Underground containers as rewards. If you haven’t spent much time underground yet, you can quickly level up and collect several containers in a short time.
You can also obtain sealed containers in the Dark Zone. However, only open these after Update 1.4 goes live. This way, you can quickly access items with revamped stats.
Collect Target Data!
High-value targets and high-risk targets will be greatly enhanced with Update 1.4: They will become an excellent source of good loot quickly.
To take down these HVTs in mass after the launch of 1.4, you need target data. You can already collect these now. You can carry a maximum of 99 target data with you. You obtain these by completing “Search and Destroy” missions in the open world.
What do you think of these tips? Is it important for you to be fully prepared right away?
Here you will find all the important new features that Update 1.4 brings.
