In The Division 2, the big expansion “Warlords of New York” with many new items is coming soon. It will likely include 10 new Exotics. The first two are already known and look damn good.
What are these Exotics? In the review show of the big announcement for “Warlords of New York”, the stunning start of “Year 2” for The Division 2, the developers already presented 2 new Exotics.
- The Run&Gun SMG “Lady Death”
- The insatiable LMG “Bullet King”
All in all, we will likely enjoy 10 new Exotics during the course of the expansion. Warlords starts on March 3rd, and here is a little tease with the details about the first known exotic weapons.

The Exotics “Lady Death” and “Bullet King” capabilities
What can the “Lady Death” do? This nasty weapon proudly features a skull head of the Statue of Liberty on the magazine and protects its user with a knuckle duster on the undergrip. According to the developers, the weapon plays just as aggressively as it looks.
What do the talents look like? The weapon could possibly refine any Run&Gun build and offers the right talents. So far, 2 specific features of the weapon have been discussed. How they split up regarding the talents is still unknown.
- Talent “Breath free” (“Breathless” or “Out of Breath”)
- The more you move, run, or sprint, the more stacks the weapon collects. The higher the stacks, the more damage you deal.
- If you land a kill with the weapon, your speed increases.
So the talents support a very mobile game and help with the speed buff when flanking enemies. Whether the stacks fill up faster when you are on the move faster is still unclear.
What else is there to know? The weapon is said to work optimally with one of the new gear sets. The developers have, however, not revealed too much about this yet.
What makes the “Bullet King” special? This golden LMG is set to become the best friend of all agents who always have problems with their magazine size, as it does not need to be reloaded.
This weapon monster comes into play with a very high DPS value and is likely to clear enemies from the path in droves. Additionally, the metal weapon brings a really strong group buff.
What talents are already known? Here, the developers also spoke about one of the talents, but did not reveal whether it is a single talent or if the two properties come separately.
- Talent “Bullet Hell” (“Bullet Hell”)
- This weapon does not need to be reloaded.
- After 100 hits, the magazines of all team members are fully loaded.
The developers did not go into detail, but the talents sound damn strong. The magazine likely includes all LMG bullets in the inventory and does not need to be reloaded, plus you can load your buddies’ magazines after 100 hits.
More information about the Bullet King: Players of The Division 1 should still remember the name “Bullet King” well. That was a boss whom several agents took down many times back then because he offered a chance for a specific exotic. Now we get the opportunity to continue hunting in his name in Division 2.
Gear 2.0 already brings a lot of new gear, but there is more to come
What other special gear pieces can we expect? In addition to the Exotics, the developers at “Massive” also announced more new gear:
- 4 new brand sets
- 10 Exotics
- 2 weapons
- 19 named items
- 2 gear sets
The items will likely come into play with the new season system, but could also be available right at the launch of the Warlords expansion.
Along with the changes to recalibration and skill tiers and the overhaul of the whole equipment system, there should be enough food for our builds for now. A new Hunter mask is said to already be found in Episode 3.
